Menorca, a small Spanish Island in the Mediterranean Sea is the birth place of the traditional field workers shoes, the so called 'Avarca'. RIA Menorca has handmade these sandals since 1947 with lots love and attention to detail. Founded in 1947 by Bartolome Truyol, the family business has continued to manufacture the traditional Avarcas with authentic quality leathers and recycled tyre soles. Over the years a great range of new styles were born out of this original sandal. We are happy they made their way to Australia.”
